What to Expect from Microsoft at E3

So far, we know that there will be 15 different titles that appear this E3, eight of which are brand new IPO's. We're going to go through all of the ones we know for sure will appear this E3.

1: Black Tusk: This one is coming from Microsoft itself, and is supposed to be the "next Halo". Details are scarce as one would imagine, but as soon as something comes available we will let you know here, as we count down to E3 2013.

2: Thief: That's right Thief has been confirmed to be coming to the XBOX One, and it is said to be one of the most immersive Thief game ever.

3: UFC: EA announced at the XBOX One reveal that a next-gen UFC game was going to be available at launch this Holiday Season. According to the stage show Microsoft put on yesterday for the XBOX One, you'll be able to actually throw your own punches, kicks, and blocks against other fighters in the Octagon, and thanks to the new XBOX One Kinect, every motion you make, your character will follow in kind. Check out the trailer below.

4: Call of Duty: Ghosts: This is was one of only two non-sports related games they revealed yesterday. The best by far is Call of Duty Ghosts. This is a very impressive game, and looks absolutely fantastic. The tiny details in everything is just beautiful. Here's the trailer for CoD: Ghosts.

5: Ryse: This is one of those XBOX One exclusives, and it's looking better and better every time something new comes in. The game takes place in the Spartan era and is bloody and violent which is acted out with the new Kinect. You slice and stab your opponent with one hand and defend yourself with the other. Here's the trailer for Ryse.

6: Quantum Break: Apparently, this game is about a little girl that might be able to control time, but no one seems to be sure completely what this one is going to be about. Made by Remedy, the fine folks who made Alan Wake, the game has an interesting mix of live action and gameplay. Sadly it seemed distracting to me, but that's just my opinion.

7: Watch Dogs: What more can be said about this game? It's going to be amazing, and it will look very pretty on the XBOX One.

XBOX One Behind the Scenes

It's the day after the announcement that XBOX's new Console The XBOX One. Has anything changed since we last left off? From what I gather from reading various posts, and articles is that the design of the new XBOX One is lacking according to the fans. Most are comparing it to a VCR. I personally, also see that comparison, as this seems to be very boxy in its design. However it's still half a year from any sort of launch day, so perhaps Microsoft will take this into account, and upgrade the design to something a little more streamlined, and/or futuristic.

With that being said, it's never wise to judge based on the cover of the book, so it's what it can do most gamers are interested in. As of this point the graphics quality of the games are truly next gen, with all the big companies really pushing the fidelity out of every pixel that's on screen. This has given all the games that have been presented a realistic look that has only been seen in cutscenes, and big budget Hollywood movies.

Unreal came out with their presentation before anyone even knew there was going to be a new XBOX, and they've been hard at work making sure all the spit and polish goes into their new editor and world builder Unreal Engine 4. Take a look at the video below for a brief glimpse into what we can expect from this new Generation of Hardware.

Even if you're not a fan of the new XBOX One's look we're all going to have to admit the impressive abilities it contains within.

XBOX One's List of Games

Forza Motorsport 5
This is the sixth title in the Forza franchise, which began with Forza Motorsport on the original Xbox followed by Forza 2, 3 and 4 on Xbox 360, as well as spinoff Forza Horizon last year.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts

On February 7, 2013, Activision confirmed that a new Call of Duty game was in development and would be released Q4, 2013. The publisher expects poorer performance than previous entry Call of Duty: Black Ops II due to the transition to next-generation consoles.[4]
With the end of the Modern Warfare story arc in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the series starts a new sub-series with Ghosts to coincide with the launch of eighth generation consoles entering the market. The game will debut an engine built by the developer.[5] Raven Software and Neversoft will assist Infinity Ward in the development.
On April 29, 2013, the official Call of Duty website was updated with a social media mosaic that filled up every time a user logged into the site via Twitter or Facebook. The next day, the mosaic was completed and the picture showed a skull along the text "the Ghosts are real."[6][7] Some details about Ghosts leaked prior, especially when Tesco pulled the listing of the game for the PlayStation 3 after it was put up accidentally.[8] Several other retailers, including Target, listed it for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.[1][9][10]
The live-action teaser trailer for Ghosts, titled "Masked Warriors", features glimpses of people wearing historical battle attire, among them one of a group of soldiers putting on the skull mask shown on the box art. It was released on May 1, 2013. Ghosts appeared at the "Xbox Reveal" event on May 21, 2013.

XBOX One Details

This is a look at the new menu system on XBOX One. As you can see the layout is very similar to Windows 8, which is ironic, because Windows 8 is being redone because users hate it. Overall it's a clean design, and should flow well from one menu to the next, especially with the Kinect voice commands.

As you can see in the picture above, The XBOX One is capable of some very high resolution real time simulations. Real Time lighting effects, and reflections. Depth of Focus has also been seen, and seemed prevalent in many of the games featured during this press conference.

This is the XBOX One's Guide, where you can choose between the many different options. According to the press conference, the new XBOX One will be able to control all of the devices in your living room, including your television, and whatever content supplier you have. In Seattle, they used Com Cast, but it's no that big of a leap to believe that Dish and Directv are also supported, as well as many other cable and satellite providers.

Here's an example of the connections that XBOX One can perform. You can watch television while you take a Skype call. Which brings up the point that you can now have more than one app open at anytime. This brings up many possibilities, including the possibility of having a television show on and have exclusive secondary content playing along the side of your television. Like the SyFy Channels Face Off, or The Walking Dead.

We can only wait until E3 to find out what more the XBOX One has in store for us, but as was previously stated 18 New Games 9 of which are brand new franchises. Let's not forget the upcoming games such as Watch Dogs and GTA5.

Here's What XBOX One Looks Like...

Watch the Demo Footage of the XBOX One. The case seems bulky, but there could still be more tweaking that needs to be done before release. Watch the video and comment. What do you think about the way the XBOX One looks like? Love it? Hate it? Tell us here.

XBOX One Reveal

Here it is, the video feed of the XBOX1 reveal. Time to see what's under the hood, and see if XBOX One is going to be able to compete with PS4 in this coming storm known as The Holiday Season. If you believe what you see in this video, it looks like it's going to be a fairly strong competitor, no matter what the eventual outcome will be.

XBOX One Info

XBOX1 is HERE!!!

XBOX 1 has finally been announced today, and it is looking as if it's shaping up to be something more than just a game console. As a gamer I'm split about how this makes me feel. I am very interested in the fact that the new XBOX1 Kinect will come bundled with the console, and now has some brand new voice activated tricks, such as changing back and forth from TV to a Game to a song, just by telling it to do so.

Now comes the real question, will it work like how they promised? The fact is, Microsoft has a habit of releasing consoles before they're completely ready. If don't believe that, just remember back to the good old days of The Red Ring of Death. Microsoft didn't reveal many games for the new XBOX1 console. For the most part they simply showed sports games, and racing games. FIFA, Madden NFL, and Forza, are all supposed to be launch day releases.

The Call of Duty: Ghosts preview had the crowd blown away. It seems that this time the XBOX1 Kinect might actually prove useful in a traditional style game. The release date for the XBOX1 has been made official, but it's clear it's going to be this Holiday 2013.

On top of that, there are many big game studios announcing games for the new XBOX1 console including Ubisoft and their new IPO Watch Dogs, which is slated to be released at the same time as the new console.

Who knows what we'll be lucky to see this E3 as Microsoft has announced 15 launch games, including 8 brand new titles.

We can assume games such as Metal Gear 5 The Phantom Pain, as well as blockbusters like Rockstar's GTA5 will also appear for the consoles, and more than likely will push those games graphics far higher than that of PS3 and BOX 360 versions of the game.

Time will only tell what beautiful games we'll be seeing in the next decade to come.
